Quantitative Experience

Quantitative projects include measuring changes from a baseline survey wave and gauging awareness and use over time.

My quantitative work includes survey planning (especially skip logic), field management, and data analysis using programs such as MarketSight or Protobi.


Gauging the Effects of a Marketing Campaign

Problem

A pharmaceutical company needed to assess the impact that a branded marketing campaign would have for a new pain medication, before and after launch.

Methods

20-minute online survey conducted in two waves (baseline and after launch) with 13 subquotas and over 700 respondents

Role

Assisted team with drafting, reviewing, and testing survey

Managed field and ensured data was cleaned and reviewed

Assisted team with data analysis using MarketSight, running crosstabs by specialty and client-determined criteria

Assisted team with reporting data in PowerPoint

Tracking Awareness and Use of a Medical Device

Problem

A medical device company needed to track whether physicians were aware of its indication and recommendations over time.

Methods

Quarterly Awareness/Trial/Use (ATU) online survey, gauging shifts in perceptions, knowledge, and barriers to usage.

Role

Monitored two waves of the ATU, collaborating with team on adding client revisions and ensuring data was collected and cleaned

Assisted team with data analysis in MarketSight and Protobi, running crosstabs by wave, specialty, and client-determined criteria

Assisted team with reporting data in PowerPoint
